The submissions came flying in.
And now, the winners of the 100% Un-Official Princeton Theological Seminary Logo Redesign Contest will be announced…
First Place ($30 Amazon): Mike Rohde

Second Place ($20 iTunes): Adam Spooner

People’s Choice Award ($10 iTunes): Mark Shivers

Congratulations to the winners and to all those who submitted entries to the contest. There were some difficult decisions to be made. As a judge and as the creator of this contest, I decided that #5 should receive the People’s Choice Award, as it received the 2nd highest number of votes by readers, just behind #8. However, since #8 already received 2nd Place and a prize, I didn’t want to give them another prize. Hope that clears up any confusion. I still think it reflects the People’s Choice, because I noticed a few votes from George Hunsinger and Stacy Johnson (PTS professors), so I don’t know that all of those votes were valid because I’m pretty sure they didn’t actually vote.
Anyway, now I guess we’ll see if Princeton Seminary decides to use any of these. Don’t hold your breath.

#5 had at most 25 votes
#8 had at least 29 votes
Yet #5 wins? Odd. Looks like our judge was a little bit biased…
….and by “wins” in the above comment I meant regarding the “people’s choice” award, which apparently was not an award meant to reflect the “people’s choice.”
CC – I just edited the post to give you some more info.
#8 had already received a prize and I didn’t want two prizes going to the same person – and #5 was clearly the People’s Choice, just a few votes behind #8 (even though #8 probably had some fake votes).
I voted for #2, clearly the best design! I wouldn’t ever dare vote for tired, boring number eight.
My apologies Dr. Torrance. Correction will be made.
Adam and judges, I’m very honored to have been chosen as winner in the very un-official contest. :-)
Adam, judges, and everyone who voted, thanks so much! I had fun! Congratulations to the other winners! =)
[...] A little about my entry: I decided to go with a PTS’s classic seal. I felt the rho and cross logo [...]
