This morning we went and worshipped at Trinity Cathedral (Episcopal) of the Diocese of New Jersey. Desmond Tutu, Archbishop Emeritus of Cape Town was breahing, and we figured we wouldn’t get many chances in our life to hear Tutu speak. A friend sent me a note a few days ago [along with The Landry News, by the same author as Frindle]. It was a quote by Augustine:
We stand in awe of the ocean,
The thunderstorm
The sunset,
The Mountains.
But we pass by
A human being
Without notice
Even though
The person
Is God’s most magnificent Creation.
