About @AdamWC
Thanks for stopping by after clicking on my Twitter profile. In case you’re new to Twitter, you should check out a post I wrote about it called “Signing Up For and Using Twitter.” I’m sure you won’t really get this from the title, but the post is about how to both sign up for and use Twitter to its fullest potential.
I am Minister for Youth & Young Adults at Asbury United Methodist Church. I also blog here at Pomomusings. And I am also the Founder and Lead Designer at Cleave Design (I do primarily freelance work for individuals, small non-profits and churches). So, I tend to stay pretty busy. My wife is a PhD student at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, and we live in the Bay Area. If you want more info, you can read the longer obligatory “About” page here. You can connect with me on Facebook.
Pomomusings is a blog about design, ministry and theology that has been around since August of 2003 – almost 6 years. It has a very loyal readership and if you want to subscribe to my RSS feed, you can do that here or get updates via email.
I like to write about issues related to the church and theology and I tend to enjoy rocking the boat a little bit – which I generally tend to think is a good thing. Below are some of the most popular posts on Pomomusings – you can also browse my archives to get a sense of what I write about most.
- The Bible & Homosexuality: Enough with the Bible Already…
- When an M.Div. from Princeton Isn’t Enough
- Cleaker: A 3-column WordPress theme I designed
- Thesis Framework for WordPress: I am a huge fan of Thesis and think it’s the best way to run a WordPress-powered site/blog.
- Top 20 All-Time Best Youth Group Games
- Plurality 2.0: This was a blog series on issues of pluralism and diversity in the church
- Kingdom of God blog series
I hope you’ll take some time to check out the site, leave some comments, subscribe to the RSS feed and be a part of this community.
