Well – I promised you one more “bonus” post in my series of “What!? You’re not using…?” And so here is today’s last bonus post, “What!? You’re not using condoms?”
Nope. We weren’t. And you know what can happen when you don’t use any form of birth control?
We weren’t 100% sure it was legit, so we had to have an expert take a look at it:
Once Sadie gave us the “Hey – it’s legit” – we knew we were good to go. Our due date is January 9, and this is exciting news for us – although we also carry with us the short lives of Micah and Judah, and all of the nerves and anxiety that accompany a new pregnancy after losing children halfway through our last pregnancy. I also shared the news on Dazed Dad, and wrote a bit more about how we’re doing here.
We just got back from our 12 week ultrasound and you can see the little baby boy-girl smiling below. She-he was pretty dang cute, moving around a ton, squirming, stretching, waving at us…so, I’d say we’re off to a good start so far.
Best non-use of technology in a long time. Congrats to the 3 of you.
Adam, I am tearing up… I am so happy for you and Sarah. While you will always carry the memory of Micha and Judah with you, I pray that this baby brings healing and a an increadable amount of joy to your life. God bless the new little one. I’ll continue to pray God’s blessing on this pregnancy!
