Don’t you love it when people post the day after Christmas and let you know all of the cool gifts they got for Christmas? Annoying huh?
LOST: The Complete Series
Sarah and I have big plans for Christmas. We’re going to get lost in Lost.
Okay, I know that was cheesy, but that’s our plan. We had many invitations from really wonderful folks in our congregation, and from some friends in the area, to spend Christmas with them and their families. And while we would have had a great time with any of them, we’ve decided to lay low this Christmas season.
I’m not sure exactly what Christmas is going to be like, but I’m guessing that it’s going to be hard. Hard with the expectations that we were going to be very pregnant at this point in the year. Hard because we are getting just that much closer to our due date, and the day in which we were going to begin our lives with Micah and Judah.
P90X + Weight Watchers

I know what you’re thinking, and let me just apologize up front. I know that you were really hoping to see some BEFORE pictures, like so many people put up online when they talk about starting P90X. But unfortunately, while those photos were taken, you’re not going to see them…..yet. I decided that I would only share the BEFORE photos, if the AFTER photos were impressive enough to actually see some good results. So…we’ll see.
I’ve started up P90X and Weight Watchers again and I’m hoping that the combination of the two will get me into better shape and to a place where I feel healthier and more fit. It’s always fun to see people’s reactions when I saw I’m doing Weight Watchers; most say something like “Why? You look fine.” And even though it’s not like I look really unhealthy, I am at my highest weight ever and am about 20lbs heavier than I’d ideally like. So, the goal is about 154lbs if I can make that – but we’ll see. Anything in the 150s would be great – I started out at 176lbs.
Support Broad Street Ministry
When I was in seminary, I had the opportunity to check out a lot of different faith communities, both in the Princeton-Philadelphia-NYC area, and in Atlanta. By far, one of the most amazing communities I got to worship with was Broad Street Ministry. While it was a bit of a drive from Princeton to Philadelphia, Sarah and I would head in as often as we could – we both fell in love with the community.
