The Kiss

This photo was taken on our wedding day. Two years ago (more photos here). Sarah likes to remind me about this photo every now and then - she likes to remind me how this is about 10 sec after we walked out of the sanctuary - less than a minute after being pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Walker Cleaveland - and I’ve already got my eyes off of her. I like to try and convince her that I was kissing her and then a flash went off and I got distracted. Probably not a great excuse. But anyway - here we are - two years ago today. We’ve had a good day so far - some relaxing, finished up The Office Season Two, a bike ride, and hopefully off to Outback Steakhouse (where else do you go for a good steak when you’re poor graduates).

Try this: “you were finally all mine - MINE!! - and here was this creepy photographer trying to horn in and steal your soul - had to keep my eye on that camera - you were all mine - MINE!” - try that.

In a stroke of irony, Susan and I, even though we live in JAPAN, managed to be so lame as to go to the Outback Steakhouse in Nagoya for our 1st anniversary… I guess we officially celebrated the night before in Kyoto but…
