Palestine and Israel Posts

Many of you probably know this, but I spent the summer of 2005 in Egypt, Palestine and Israel. During that time, I kept a pretty active blog about my experience, but it was separate from pomomusings. I’ve recently imported in all of those entries and fixed all the photos. If you’re into browsing archives, these posts can be found in June, July and August of 2005, or you can check out the posts tagged Middle East, Palestine, Israel or Travel.
I’m still working through getting all of the archives into better shape, formatting text, adding in photos from Typepad, etc. It’s quite the tedious procedure, but I’ve finally gotten through most of 2005. That just leaves 1 more year to go through, and then everything will be updated.

Glad you’re doing this. I lived in Bethlehem, Palestine from 1983-1989. Our synod, New England Synod of the ELCA is a partner synod to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land and is very involved in what is happening there. Peace.

And could your understanding comprehend wrapping bombs round two innocent woman born with downs syndrome condition ( condition is the proper term in UK)
Two woman innocent and completely oblivious to the out come and consequences of this action..
The action of the Palestinians in this affair, as done zero for their plight..

Its not a excuse but ive worked for 20 years with people with a learning disability,i was told the situation was in Israel and i just got mad,i shouldn’t of posted till i knew the proper details..
