Bruce Reyes-Chow for 2008 PC(USA) Moderator

Presbyterian pastor, 30-something and Presbymergent Bruce Reyes-Chow was recently endorsed by San Francisco Presbytery to run (or stand, as the PC(USA) lingo goes) for Moderator at this summer’s General Assembly in San Jose. I have run into Bruce once or twice and know him from his involvement with presbymergent and his blog. I am very excited about the potential of having a young Moderator of the PC(USA) and love his hope for the future of the church. I don’t know if this is his “campaign slogan” but on his site it says, “Nurtured by our past; embracing our future.” I think that’s great and wish him all the best in this journey.
