January 18, 2008
I’ve been listening to Rogue Wave for a few years now. Very cool, easy listening stuff. This song is called “Kicking the Heart Out.”

This post is part of an ongoing guest blogger series on the kingdom of God.
Today, we will hear from Tony Hoshaw:
Who belongs in or who gets the Kingdom of God? In an effort to answer that question, I want to rub together an understanding of 1 Corinthians 6:9 and an interpretation of Matthew 19:10-12.

A Month of Google Adsense
January 16, 2008
Just over one month ago, I decided to use Google AdSense to put some ads on this blog. Here are my thoughts:
Readership
I haven’t really noticed any negative effect on my readerships. In fact, my Feedburner numbers have gone up even higher (over 600 recently) and unique visitors to the site have stayed about the same. [...]
MacBook Air & Apple Stock
January 15, 2008
A few friends and I listened to Steve Jobs’s 2008 MacWorld Keynote earlier today (we actually found someone who was broadcasting the audio online). I was very excited for this, as we were hopefully going to be introduced to the rumored MacBook Air.

Andy Konigsmark Advances to Top 8 in American Gladiators
January 15, 2008
In case you didn’t watch American Gladiators last night, but my buddy Andy Konigsmark kicked ass last night and advanced on to the Top 8. The good news of the Kingdom of God is, according to Matthew, Mark, and Luke, the Gospel. John would agree - although he translates the phrase “kingdom of God” to “life of the ages” or [...]
MacWorld Keynote
January 12, 2008
Steve Jobs’s 2008 MacWorld San Francisco Keynote address is just hour away now. It will take place at 9am Pacific on Tuesday, January 15th. I don’t know if anyone else is as excited about this keynote as I am, but Andrew just sent me a link to some pretty good predictions from Gizmodo. The thing [...]

Today’s song comes from artist Kendall Payne. I first heard of her a few years ago from April, and instantly starting getting into her style. We heard this song on “Brothers and Sisters” I think; it’s off her newest album, Paper Skin, and the song is called “I Will Show You Love.”

Today, we will hear from Melissa Johnson Bills:
I was driving around earlier this week on an unseasonably warm and wet January day, already feeling a bit down because of the gray sky and leafless trees. I switched on my car radio [...]
