Faith’d
December 3, 2007
You know how there are just certain people who really should be blogging. Maybe you know it because they always have interesting things to say. Or perhaps it’s because they always email you links to interesting or insightful articles and say “Hey - you should blog this!” Or perhaps it’s because they tried to blog once, had a really good thing going and then decided to just stop…
Such is the case with my friend Andrew Zirschky who is now blogging over at Faith’d. I met Andrew in Twin Falls, Idaho when he and I were both in youth ministry. After awhile of trying to convince him to start blogging, he started up NakedChurch, which lived for about one and a half years. It was a great blog, so I’m looking forward to see where he’s going to go with Faith’d. Andrew is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Practical Theology at Princeton Seminary and as he says on his blog, “My research interests include the intersection of faith and technology, faith and adolescent brain development, and youth and spiritual practices.”
Andrew always has interesting thoughts, writes great book reviews, has some really cutting-edge ideas on youth ministry, and is generally a pretty hip guy (even though he’s significantly older than me!). Anyway - if you’re interested in youth, culture or the church, you’ll want to check out Andrew’s blog, Faith’d.

Great site.
Some bloggers always do have interesting thoughts but it’s kinda sad that sometimes due to some factors, (either it’s blogger’s block or time constraint) those precious thoughts were lost among other ‘incomplete unpublished entries’

Adam…you make us 30somethings sound like we’re ancient of days LOL! Never fear, you will be “significantly older” in about 2.5 years, eh?
But I agree, I’m glad that Andrew is blogging again. I read the NC archives and had fun reading down memory lane about PTS in 2004.

Jess, thanks for coming to my defense! Adam’s post was too kind. . . until he hit the much older stuff. Let me proclaim to the world, I’m 33, not really that much older than Adam I think.
Gee, kids these days.
