Fridays are for New Music

I thought I’d start sharing some music with you on Fridays. I’ll start off today with a track entitled Hysteria by British, new-progressive rock band, Muse. This is off of their album, Absolution. It’s probably a little hard for some of you, but I enjoy the louder stuff sometimes.

Are they cool with that?

@Scott – that’s a good question. I don’t know. I didn’t ask them, but I’d imagine that if some people go out and purchase their album because they like this one song…maybe they’d be okay with it.

My band covers that tune! I highly recommend Black Holes and Revelations by the same band. Excellent album and one of NME’s favorites for 2006 with good reason. The difference between that and Absolution is like the difference between Radiohead’s Pablo Honey and The Bends.

Great to hear you rock to some Muse. . . I crank them up from time to time myself.
