Great video. It’s a caricature of the megachurch — but it does catch the idea of church shopping!

The King of the Hill episode is called “Church Hopping” Hank and the family start church hopping when a young family sits in “their pew” at the tiny Methodist church they attend. Really good episode that throws up a mirror at how we’ve become a consumeristic people in every part of our living, including the Church. We showed this episode to the HS Youth at Colesville for their Tuesday night Bible study; they got a lot out of the show and discussion. I would recommend it for adult and youth groups. I don’t remember which season the show is from, but is available on the current seasons that are on DVD.
