When I was back in Idaho this summer, I stopped off at my favorite spot on the road to get some photos. I played around with one of them in Photoshop and have really been enjoying it as my desktop – and I thought I might share it in case you’re interested. You can download it here (be patient, it’s 4mb). If you like these, let me know and I can offer some more of my photography as Desktop Wallpapers.
Update: I know the file has been downloaded 74 times – but what do people think? You like it? Should I put more of these up from time to time?

I definitly appreciate art like this. It makes me excited to live life, or just to move in general.
Adam,
Great picture! I also like the slight faded colors — kind of a Saving Private Ryan wash.
I am one of those people that love to change their desktop picture quite a bit. Depending on my mood, my mission ‘o the day, or to give me the lift I need for the first two, it kind of becomes my backdrop for my work.
Keep ‘em coming!
Also, did you create the desktop background you were using when you did the screen capture on September 20th? If you did then I would also love to see some more of those, and if you didn’t I would love to know where you got it.
Thanks brother!
Jason
@Jason: the background from the 9/20 screen capture post was an image I purchased off of iStockPhoto. I’ve come to LOVE that website and have grabbed a ton of images from them. I usually like going there and typing in “Texture” and finding some very good images. That’s how I got that image.
Since we’ve gotten the Canon Digital Rebel – I’ve started to play around some more with photography – so hopefully I’ll keep posting some of these…
