On the eve of my last year of graduate school, I’m very happy to have finally found something that will help me stay up late to study when I need to. I’ll admit, this might just be me, but recently, Crystal Light Raspberry Iced Tea has been having quite the effect on me. Last week, I drank a very small glass of it before going to bed. And I could not, for the life of me, get to sleep. I was wired, antsy, and eventually, I had to get up until I got tired.
The other night, I had some late-night web-designing to do, and I drank a glass of it at midnight. I was wired and fully awake until 3am, when I had to make myself go to sleep. Now, this very well may be a placebo effect or something – because Sarah checked and Crystal Light Raspberry Iced Tea only has 11mg of caffeine in an 8oz glass. But it’s possible there is something else in there that is doing something to me – but I think I just found this year’s
speed study aid. I was never able to pull all-nighters in college – if only I had found Crystal Light then.
Any chance anyone else out there has had a similar experience with Crystal Light?
