We have a new member of the Walker Cleaveland household - Sadie Walker Cleaveland. We picked her up at SAVE, a wonderful animal shelter in Princeton. She is about a year old, and is a Lab Pit Bull mix. I never would have pictured myself owning anything with any Pit Bull mix in it, but she’s wonderful. She has a really great personality, and she’s spent the majority of the evening just sleeping on the floor next to the couch, hanging out with us. She gets along really well with the kids in our complex and is a ton of fun. Be prepared for some new entries related to dogs (care, training, craziness) - and you might even want to be on the lookout for a new blog in the future. Since Sarah is now blogging at sarah.walkercleaveland.com, you just might see a new blog at sadie.walkercleaveland.com. We’ll see. If you want to see some photos from today, go to Sadie’s Photo Album. She doesn’t sit still enough to get humorous shots yet, but we’ll see.

Welcome Sadie.

Yippee for dogs!! I think it’s the only way to ward off the very strong baby vibe that floats through the air in PTS married housing ;)

beware…i have seen from other neighbors that dog ownership can ward off babies but only for a year or two ;-) so don’t entertain a phd here unless sadie is willing to share her attention with a kiddo. (just kidding of course) btw, very cute dog…i thought i saw sarah out with her yesterday.

congrats on the new and very cute addition to your family!

i’m glad that you weren’t put off too much by the pit bull mix. pit bulls have a sometimes unjustified bad reputation i think. my brother has one and it’s the nicest dog my family has ever owned!
