Spring in Atlanta
March 24, 2007

This past week has been Reading Week here at Columbia; this week we have classes and then we get Spring Break. The weather has been in the 80s, things are blossoming and Atlanta is gorgeous. Unfortunately, all the blossoming and pollen is not good for the allergies.
Yesterday, Sarah and I went for a nice bike ride to downtown Atlanta’s Piedmont Park with Gareth, (he has some nice photos up). It was a lot of fun, minus the sore butts after the 17 miles of biking. Good to get out, enjoy a nice lunch in the park, and get a chance to ride through some new parts of Atlanta. I decided to try and get some snapshots of people in Piedmont Park - some aren’t that great, but I took them all while riding my bike and trying to be very inconspicuous. Photos here.
Alright, back to work on midterm papers.

Yeah! go cyclists! Nice pics of strangers. I hardly remember them at all. The guy tanning by the lake (topless) - when we first cycled past him i got a fright: I thought he was a lady!
We’ll do it again when the bums recover.
