iBoughtAMac.com: A Review

I just recently ran across iBoughtAMac (iBAM) via my friend Wess. They’re doing an iPod Shuffle Giveaway on the blog, and so I thought I’d review the site and get my name entered into the contest (you know, I do love contests).

The nice thing about iBAM is that the site appeals to a diverse audience. Let me be more clear: I like this site, and my parents will like this site. My parents got a MacBook last December, and while I think they are getting pretty used to the Mac – there are still some adjustments. So I get phone calls every now and then about which button to push to do this-or-that, those types of calls. So, I know that I can email my parents and recommend iBAM to them, specifically posts like:

However, it’s also a site I’m interested in. I’ve been a Mac-user for a few years now, but I still found out about some cool stuff on iBAM – specifically Pearl Crescent Page Saver (which is so hot!) from iBAM’s Saving Webpages is a Snap. Another post I found helpful was iBAM’s Lists of Essential Apps, which has some great collections and I completely agree with iBAM’s review on TextMate.

So if you’re looking for a great site about all-things-Mac, check out iBoughtAMac.

Thank you for the great review. I am especially impressed that you actually hung out a while and linked to several things on the site. This contest is fun, I hope to do many more. I sincerely thank you for the warm review.

Talk soon!
