“What is…”

Date February 28, 2007

Over the next few weeks, I’d like to start a “What is…” series of posts. These posts will be both theological and interactive. I will first write a post that simply asks a question; for example, “What is theology?” Then it’s up to blog readers to leave a short response (3 sentences max) as to what they think theology is. I will do a follow up post with some of my thoughts about the responses given, as well as my own response to the question.

Hopefully this exercise will prove as both a way to come up with some collaborative thoughts on some theological topics, and a chance to help us think differently about a variety of theological issues.

    I’ll quote David Wells:
The cogent articulation of the knowledge of God.

Dave, thanks for your answer, however, this was just an introduction post - I will post the question of “What is theology” in a week or two. Thanks for adding your thoughts - and please add them again when the actual question gets posed.

That’s what I get for posting before my first cup of coffee in the AM. Mea culpa…
