Cleaker 2.0 Released as WordPress Theme

In the spirit of all things open-source, I have released a version of the WordPress theme I created for this site. It is called Cleaker 2.0 and you can download it here.

Because I am so busy with a full school load, lots of cleave design business and everything else, I’m not going to have a lot of time to be able to provide support for those of you who choose to use the theme – but in the tradition of the WordPress open source community, I hope you take it, play with it, tweak it, etc., as long as you Share Alike and Attribute me somewhere in the design (the footer is a perfect place). Also, thanks to Chris Webb for widgetizing Cleaker.

Reviews: Here is a great review of Cleaker 2.0. And here is another one on WordPress Station.

Donate

Do you think this theme is worth $1? If so, consider leaving a donation of $1 through this PayPal Donate Now link. Or, if you were so inclined, maybe even splurge and leave $1.35 since PayPal takes out a $0.35 fee. Larger donations are welcome too – but $1 is plenty for me, and it will help free me up to continue to produce high-quality themes like Cleaker.

Cool. Did you submit it to the Wordpress Theme Directory, too?

Neal, I’m in the process of submitting it to the WordPress Theme Directory – if you want, you could blog about it – I’m really trying to get the word out about it.

So the next theme is going to be Walland?

Dave – nice job on picking that up ;)

Walland…perhaps. Or it could be Walkerland, Wand…Clalker…any number of possibilities.

you should add some more tags to your post so it’d be easier for people who don’t know you to find it. but again, it looks great. if i was a stranger and wasn’t afraid of being a copycat, i’d use it in a heartbeat.

Thanks. I’m going to take a look at using this on a site. Like the layout.

I love this theme! I’ve implemented it on my blog: http://www.ckwebb.com and took the liberty to add Wordpress Widget support.

Thanks for such a clean and professional theme.

As a WordPress Platform guy I respect anyone who releases a new Open Source theme. Cudos for that. But many more for mixing your design work in with your ministry avocation. You make me think about what I AM NOT DOING. Blessings – Keith in Southern California
