Busy Designing

Feels like I haven’t had much to say recently - I’ve been keeping myself busy working on a few websites, which has been fun. Thanks to my good friend Todd (who stayed up until 2am on the phone with me, talking me through creating a WordPress theme from scratch), I’m starting to grasp the ins and outs of WordPress better now, which will help me come up with a design for this site.
I have a few posts saved as drafts that you’ll be seeing soon, one on “Loyal Radicals” and another post on “What is theology?” I look forward to hearing and participating in the discussion that follows that post.
Also, I am interested in knowing if anyone has had problems with this blog loading slowly. It seems that (mt) Media Temple is still in the process of figuring out their Grid Server and it has caused some “latency” (as they call it - I just call it SLOOOOW) issues in the past few weeks. It’s a bit slow on my end sometimes and I just wanted to see if that is causing the site to be too slow for other users out there.

Yes Adam, sometimes it loads very slowly or times out and does not load at all.

But it seems to be working okay, right now…
I’m sorry Jeremiah - I went back and forth with what hosting company to go with and eventually chose (mt) Media Temple which was trying something new - and as soon as they get the kinks ironed out, it should be great.
Unfortunately, there are obviously still some kinks to be ironed out. Which is not fun when you’re trying to access the blog…

Hi, I came to find your blog while searching for an old friend of mine, molly schwartz. I found her on an entry of yours back in 2004! Do you still have contact with her or Meagan? Or do you know of a site that she has up?
