Classes at Columbia actually began last Thursday, but Sarah and I were lucky enough to still be on vacation - but it cannot be avoided anymore. Classes begin for us today. I’m excited to get Intro to Christian Ed and Ethics completed down here at Columbia, but I’m even more excited for my Men in Ministry course, we’re reading some great literature - so it should be good. I, too, found your site because of the WaPo article. If it is OK with you, I would like to post a link from my blog to yours. It is called ProgressiveChristian, and the link should be here somewhere. If not, it is http://www.progchristian.blogspot.com. I would prefer that I get your permission before I link. Thanks, and I shall return.
I’m surpised Iron John by Robert Bly wasn’t included.
David James Duncan rocks. His book of short stories, River Teeth, is one of my favourite anthologies.
Have fun.
The last time Bill taught Men in Ministry, I hadn’t come out. I had a friend who was taking it who loved it and kept telling me how great it was and how I should have taken it.
I just smiled and let him talk.
i love the river why.
those books are for girls too! i’ve read three of them, but i heart wendell berry the most. i hope it makes you want to read ALL of the port william stories. aside from annie dillard’s “for the time being”, those books are my absolute favorites…
Have fun, Adam!
What, no “Wild at Heart?” :)
