Emergent Manifesto of Hope
July 9, 2006

I wrote a chapter for this upcoming Emergent/Baker Books publication, An Emergent Manifesto of Hope, to be published in April of 2007. It’s a multi-author book as it has essays from around 20-30 people who are involved with Emergent. It should be pretty good - I know I’m looking forward to reading all of the other authors. Doug Pagitt recently had a sales meeting with Baker Books where he talked about the hopes for this book and some introductory comments about what Emergent is. If you want to listen to the presentation, check it out here.

I heard that podcast a couple days ago… Baker Books isn’t too far away from me, actually. What cracked me up were the questions they asked him… good old fashioned West Michigan questions.
