Jessica & Jaymz. So they’re gone. Finally. They’re so-so dancers, cocky and Jessica has kept saying, "If only America would get to know me, and my personality…." Well Jessica - too bad you never showed us any. Our favorites are still in - and now we’re getting down to some tough choices…
PS: An open postscript to Mary Murphy: Please do not laugh anymore. Please do not scream - the scream has really got to go. Besides, it’s all you can do. It’s all you do with each couple that you like. You scream. You say something that is supposed to make us think you didn’t quite like the dance, but then your volume rises, you smile, you scream and then you start laughing. It’s really too much. Not everyone feels this way - my wife thinks you’re hilarious - but let it be known that I am begging you, please, no more screaming & laughing. [Everyone else, what do you think of Mary?]

dear ms. murphy,
i am writing on behalf of the artistic majority. it has come to our attention that you are not cute. you are not witty. your demeanor is both annoying and unwelcome. your scream is nothing short of numbing and your smile is enough to give both dentist and maxilofacial surgeons reason to stay in business. please stop now. please resign from your post. we are unsure of your validity as a dance judge and at the expense of actually having to see you move, wish you would redeem yourself in our eyes. in the meantime? please, just stop.

My roommate and I both want Mary to be silenced in one way or another. We fast forward every time she talks!
On a side note, did anyone else ever notice that sometimes they spelled it “Jaymz” and sometimes they spelled it “Jamyz”? Why can’t they just spell it James?

The scream could stand to be toned down a bit. I don’t hate her, but the screaming is not my favorite.
I also thought that Jessica and James should go… Jessica — personality is something you show, not tell, and James….accept it, your name is James. I think he came up with that different spelling himself to try to be cool. I thought he was very defensive with the judges wednesday night and it didn’t go over well.

i hate mary muphy! she is so annoying! i want her kicked off “so you think you can dance” she’s not funny, she’s not cute! i hate her! to everyone else that hates her i say you are smart! anyone who likes her is not smart at all! GRRRRRRR!

I’ve seen it once. Wow. What an obnoxious person. She may be a good dancer, but man, she has no style or grace what so ever.
Some people just don’t see the difference between being notable rather than notorious.

I hate her with all my heart ! I can never ever see her dance . That laugh of hers is really annoying. She laughs for no damn reason… I mean someone’s showin their skills.. well yeah people pop and they got mad skills, I dont hear anybody else laughing. But she gotta get her f***in laugh in the middle n just kill ur brain. I seriously MUTE her comments and sometimes mute it during the dance when she starts her nasty laugh. She need to join ” So you think you can laugh” ! Fo real lol

Yes, she is the most annoying person on TV. My wife (a former dancer) makes me watch the show. Even though I know nothing about dancing, I enjoy watching the dancers. But, it’s not worth it if I have to listen to Mary. I especially hate the way she yells when she talks. You have a mike, just speak normally.

My girlfriend enjoys the show and so I am forced to catch it from time to time. I can not stand Mary Murphy. I looked for this page just to get it off my chest. She makes me sick and I can not believe the show continues to employ her.

I’m so glad i stumbled across this site. . . Im sitting here watching the show and i find myself wanting to yell expletives at the tv. Bleh!! How tacky and unrefined. So much so that i can’t even find eloquant words to say how deeply i despise her. She spoils every ounce of artistic integrity the show has. She’s unattractive and obnoxious and laughable as a normal human being.

Yeah, but what can we do about Mary Murphy? That is what’s so depressing.
I can only fast-forward Mary Murphy so many times before I end up giving up and just watching her. Her laugh penetrates my soul and I feel deflated and defeated.
The audience, contestants, and other judges never seem to recognize how obnoxious she is. The comments here make me feel better, but I still feel alone.
I am a sad and nauseous third-class passenger on the hot tamale train.

I hear everything Devastator just said!! My wife loves this show. I would watch it except for that &^%$# Mary Murphy. Instead I sit at the computer, which is right next to the TV, and I wear top-of-the-line ear protectors for gun enthusiasts when she comes on and and my wife is kind enough to turn the TV down when it’s her turn and I STILL HEAR THAT %$#@ WHOOP AND CACKLE THAT SHE EMITS!!! :>( Why doesn’t Lithgoe get a clue from the people on these websites and FIRE THAT EVIL *&^%!!!

We CANT STAND Mary Murphy!~ She has the most irritating…obnoxious voice…laugh…scream…mouth…you name it!~ And she dont know how to close her mouth ever!!! Ugh…we have to mute her everytime its her turn to talk…and she always has to COPY what the other judges say!!! She cant give her own opinion…I’m sorry but she IS the most annoying person on tv…they need to get rid of her a.s.a.p…

I am roflmao. This is great and so true. Someone should start a petition to the show for her retirement! I like the show but cannot get past her laughing and screaming like a cat in heat. It is downright scarey and I am sure that the ratings would go up if they did get rid of her. She has got to scare people away. Keep bloggin even if it don’t produce change, it is a great way to VENT.

I agree with most of the comments about Mary Murphy. I think it’s a little immature to refer to her as ‘THAT EVIL *&^%’, but she IS the most irritating person I’ve ever heard on TV. Has anyone could found a way to pass on all these comments to the people in power to get her off the show?

OMG, there IS a majority out there who can’t stand this woman! Her voice makes my skin crawl! The entire season I never knew what her occupation was until I googled it today. She comes across as a total idiot!

I hate to leave such a boring comment like this but it is totally the truth. I watched the show for the first time today and will NEVER watch it again because of that idiot, I’ve since found out to be, Mary Murphy. I don’t know if she’s evil or not, but most other comments on here really hit home. The show itself is good. Mary Murphy makes it unwatchable, however. So I rushed to the computer to see if I was alone in this line of thinking and I am most obviously NOT.
