No more LDR…
May 8, 2006

The LDR (long-distance relationship) is done. Sarah and I are now together, and we’re at the 20 day countdown until the wedding! Crazy, and yet, as Sarah said last night, also very normal. On my drive entering Atlanta yesterday, I listened to Queen’s "We are the Champions" as I experienced my last few minutes of the LDR. It feels good to be here, yet still unreal in some ways. I feel like in a week or so I’ll pack up my suitcase and go back home. But I won’t. I’m here. And it is wonderful. And it is happening…

Congratulations, Adam. Best wishes to you at Columbia next year, and I will keep you and Sarah in my prayers during my time in Scotland next year.

All the best as finish up all the details of your wedding planning. Have a great time and enjoy your honeymoon! Have you found a place to live or are you going to live where Sarah lives now? Also, why are you moving there for only a year? Adele

Good luck to you. I’m actually considering getting my mDiv at Columbia, but I’m a Methodist now so I’m a little scared the whole Reformed thing will just confuse me. :)

Adam,
It has been a long four year LDR relationship for us as well (Ashley @ home in Nebraska- I am at college in Oklahoma). I know what you mean about it finally happening…except I haven’t experienced that feeling of relief yet. 2 more weeks…
