A first…
March 5, 2006

So, I had a first today. I went to a bridal show. Sarah waited for me outside the exhibit hall. It was a quick trip - we went because The Men’s Wearhouse gives you a pretty sweet discount on your tuxes if you show up to a bridal show. So, there you have it. I had a fun little "I’m the Groom" sticker, and I got many sympathetic looks from the other bearers of said stickers. Anyway - thought you’d enjoy knowing this fun little fact, and the picture of Sarah and I below: me wearing my fun sticker and Sarah wearing her "Bride-to-be" sticker.

Don’t they spell that “bridle”?

Bro. You know you loved it. Thanks for getting a discount for poor groomsmen.

I feel you man. I had to attend one of those shin-digs by myself a few months ago for the same reason: discounted tuxedos.

And hey, it’s another excuse to post more pics of yourself… :) Sorry, couldn’t resist.
I remember my trip to one of these deals. Ahhh, so much fun. I doubt it’s changed much in the last 11 years. But I didn’t get sticker. :(

Before the wedding, it’s things like “The Bridal Warehouse” and having fun little stickers. Four years later, you’re standing in Bed, Bath, and Beyond looking at bath towels going, “Excuse me, sir, but do you have this in lavender?”
Sad, I know, but I speak from experience. And to answer the question above, I have yet to find a bath towel in lavender. I’ve looked. :)

Sounds like a good time?

On the subject, sort of, could you give your readers an update on the LGN project? I’m totally curious.
