Day 1:
Day 2: NJ Transit = free. NJ Transit employees = odd. Very odd.
Wicked lottery #2, barely made it there on time: lost. Food at the Cosmic Diner: good food, bad NYC people experiences. Walking in the misty NYC rain (peered into the Hello Deli and saw Rupert) to the American Folk Art Museum. $14 and…well, it was so-so, not the MOMA that’s for sure. Obsessive Drawing
was the best. More rain-walking, but this time with a hot
salty-pretzel. Found Crate & Barrel and found some better glassware
and saw our ‘everyday dishes’ - and a lot of other stuff that we
registered for. More rain-walking as we passed uber-NYC-expensive
jewelry stores and popped in to a few to try on wedding bands.
Starbucks and a break from walking, then back to Wicked lottery #3:
lost again. Tried for The Spelling Bee
lottery: lost again. 4th loss. So we counted our losses (4), grabbed a
couple hot dogs from the hot dog man, walked through the pretty,
fog-filled Times Square streets and caught the local train back to
Princeton. Good times in NYC. Thank you NJ Transit.

Very odd?
So sorry you didn’t get to see any shows. The last time I was at the Folk Art Museum there was a fabulous paper sculpture exhibit. Just depends on what’s showing, I think.
The Spelling Bee is wonderful. If you can see it, whether by lottery or not, do so!
