My mom wanted to know what my room looked like. I am staying at the Ramses College for Girls; Sarah just laughed when I told her that. But it’s where all the PC(USA) and Lutheran Young Adult Volunteers live, and they were kind enough to put me up for free, so I have been very grateful for the great internet accessibility, my own flat, air-conditioned bedroom, full bath to myself…it’s been wonderful. So thanks to all, and especially to Becca Hylander (she was a YAV in Cairo last year), who hooked me up with these people.
