Eating like a local…

So, my stomach is still doing very good. And since I have an 8+ hour busride tomorrow to St. Katherine’s Monastery, I decided to play it safe and eat something I knew would be okay, instead of a shewarma that turned out to be sketchy…

So I sucked it up, and went into the Hardees at Tahrir Midan Square. But, until right before I left, I was the only “tourist” in there, so I felt okay about eating there…with the locals.

Hardees?! How bizarre! You’d think it would be McDonalds or Burger King! i had no idea Hardee’s was outside the USA! i worked at HArdees when i was 16 - oh my gosh, 20 years ago! Time flies!
