Hanging with April & Nuc…

Date May 25, 2005

A year ago, I randomly sent April from Harp 46 an email, and then got a chance to hang out with her and her husband Nuc (pictured above) at the Emergent Convention in Nashville. Sarah got to meet them this past week in Nashville and last night, we had to privilege to experience the wonderful hospitality of April & Nuc at their place in College Park, Maryland. We showed up, and then drove out to Georgetown for dinner at a nice little Italian place, Fino’s. It was great to spend time with them and to get to know them better. We hung out at their house afterward, and were treated to a wonderful waffle breakfast this morning.

When we heard Harp 46 at Nashville, I got a chance to get some great photos and video, which I’ll try to get online in the next few days. Anyway, they were both fabulous hosts and it was a really great time to spend getting to know them better, laugh, talk about seminary, church politics, blogging, Emergent and a lot of other stuff.

Sarah and I are at a 24-hr coffee joint here in College Park, called College Perk, right now - and are just getting directions for our trek up to Boston today. We’ll be in Boston until Monday, and I’ll be doing a lot of work on a website that is due June 1st for me, and do more blogging over the next two days…so be looking for that. Until then…

OK, so how was it that you were in Maryland and didn’t let me know? Next time, give me a shout, and Maryland’s finest margaritas will be yours!

    Blessings,

    Dylan
