More Emergent Connections…
March 8, 2005

Was fortunate to be able to hang out with Troy Bronsink this morning at The Flying Biscuit Cafe (which apparently was started by Emily Saliers and other women) in Atlanta. Troy is a CTS grad and we found out that we were both living in Spokane, WA during the same time, and had many connections through Whitworth friends, 1st Presbyterian Church/Spokane friends and of course the Emergent connections. Troy is a singer/songwriter in Atlanta and he and some other families are living in community together (3 couples in one house, the photo above) and doing some missional church work in their neighborhood. It was great to talk with him about emergent stuff, seminary education and both of our futures. Troy will be at Emergent in Nashville, so it will be good to be able to spend some more time with him then. Once again, it’s just a joy to be able to be involved with this network of people and the chances to meet and spend time with them.
