I spent a few hours this morning going over Powerpoint files from my Hebrew lessons, and it was actually quite helpful. But just so y’all know what we have to deal with, here are some rules to follow when working with the vowel changes and reductions within the construct chains. Yup.

Rules are always rules in Hebrew. It is a lot better than Greek, where the rules don’t really count. If you know the rules in Hebrew you are the King. Also because of the BDB you can fudge a lot more. The BDB got me through Hebrew with a good grade.
I agree with liz–Hebrew is much better than Greek and IMO a lot more fun to translate. Wooden translations can generate some pretty funny lines.
Wait a sec… I’m cool on the others, but what are Rules 7, 8, and 10?
