I haven’t mentioned our fabulous flag-football team since the first game we had. We really had a fabulous season, and as a friend of mine said, “it was the best run by a junior team I have ever seen.” So I’ll take that as a pretty good compliment. We had the playoffs yesterday and we had our first playoff game at 11am against a team who had beaten us by a last second touchdown earlier in the season, Hamor (pretty sweet name for a team…Hebrew for “he-ass”). It was back and forth throughout the game, a pretty solid game, until they got a touchdown with 16 seconds left in the game. What do you do with that?! Well, Coach Rhoda knew we had to just get some yardage on the kickoff return and then throw a hail mary…and we did and we caught it in the end zone!! It was amazing. The second game was a pretty good game, against a team that had already beaten us twice. We played great but came away losing in the semi-finals 23-14. Here is a shot of me that would make my mom proud (I’m the one just taking off closest to the camera). GO SNEAKY PATAHS!
