Jobs and Classes

Date September 14, 2004

I decided against the Starbucks job I could have had. So today we went around looking for jobs. Library? No. Bookstore? No. Media services…? Hmm, possibly, but not likely. Mail services? Nope. So, my new buddy Nick and I went and got this job. It’s going to be a whole new experience, and I’m sure I’ll put a picture up when me and all my friends (we have a fun crew) are working together (aprons and all!). I may have a few hours with Media-A/V Services too, we’ll see.

Here are my classes, I’m off to pick up some books tomorrow:

OT101: Introduction to Old Testament
OT151: Introduction to Biblical Hebrew
ED349: Communicating the Gospel to Youth
SC101: Speech Communication
PH330: Paradigms and Progress in Theology
CH235: The Spirituality and Theological Legacy of the Dionysian Forgery

Well, I’ve done it again. It’s going to be 2-2.30am before I get to bed, and we have an 8.30 meeting on our future field education placements, so I figure I should probably be there for that.

My son is looking for a campus work/study job too. Don’t know how it will turn out; hope both you and he will find what you need in them.

What the heck is “the Dionysian Forgery”? As soon as you find out, will you clue me/us in?

    Thanks!
    Dana

    Adam,
That seems like a lot of credits. How many are you taking? You probably aren’t sure about this yet, but are many of the professors warm to the emergent conversation? It should be fun to have Tony Jones out there. He is always great to be around.
