Winding down…
September 13, 2004

Orientation week is almost over (which is good, but it also means classes will be starting). We had a great little retreat yesterday up at the Johnsonburg Presbyterian Center. A few ice-breakers, a few meals, some singing in worship and then a good solid 1.5hrs of ultimate Frisbee. These are some fun people in the picture above. Me, Trajan (strong name for a very cool guy), Dean, Abby & Josh Cleveland). Here you can also get a feeling for the trees in Jersey. I’ve also seen a few movies recently. A few nights ago, a group of us saw Garden State (in the Garden State, how fitting) and tonight some people saw Napolean Dynomite. Pretty damn hilarious. Well, I’m off for now. Classes are starting soon. Tony Jones is coming to campus soon I think. Should be fun…

Don’t you think it’s weird that there are two movies currently out about New Jersey? “jersey Girl” and “Garden state”. . .I just think it’s a rather small state to elicit two movies. And I’ve been there- it’s not that impressive.
