Emergent Convention: I love Jen Lemen!

Just spent some time with Jen Lemen and it was wonderful to finally meet here. She is an encourager and a wonderful listener. I’ll definitely be taking the train down to D.C. as often as I can when I move to the East coast. She gave me my rock/blessing after the Women’s Breakfast this morning. On each of the rocks was written a word. My word: risk. And I’m excited (fearful? Hmm, perhaps, but more so, excited) to see how that rock will play out in the next few years. I do want to take risks. I do want to be faithful to who I am, to who I am becoming and to be real before God. I want to risk. Thank you Jen.
