On to glory…
May 2, 2004
My dad just called me to tell me that my Grandma passed away this evening at 8.30pm. Her husband and children sat around her bedside singing hymns, praying and then someone noticed she had stopped breathing. That is how I want to go. I’ll be heading back to Illinois this week, to Freeport (about 30 miles outside of Rockford, northern IL). Prayers for our family and for my grandpa, Willard, as we each deal with this in our own way.

Blessed Assurance, Jesus is mine
Oh what a foretaste of glory divine…
Go with the knowing that your Grandmother is now feasting on divine glory pie!
