Hooters at Nazarene Youth Congress

Was browsing through my older photos and ran across this picture. I was 15 and at the 1995 Nazarene Youth Congress in Phoenix, AZ. A group of guys from my youth group had dinner one night at Hooters. Obviously, all of the girls in our youth group were pretty upset. Not sure what we were thinking, but…yah. Still a pretty hilarious picture. A 15-yr-old, braces-wearing, geeky little guy walking up to Priscilla (that was her name) asking for a photo. I wonder what my youth pastor thought at the time…

My parents were in San Diego for a few days while I was living there. My dad was in meetings, so I got to take my mom out to lunch. I took her to hooters.
My thought pattern: My mom loves chicken wings. Hooters has the best chicken wings in town (no joke!). I should take my mom to hooters so she could have chicken wings.
Mom loved it.
