Wendell. I’ve mentioned it before, but I never thought I would end up living in a small town in southern Idaho. Wendell, ID. Population close to 2500. Yet, as you can see in the picture above, it’s the “Hub City of the Magic Valley.” Why did God bring me to this place…? And why, now that I know I’m leaving June 1st (and heading to the east coast) am I already starting to miss the place, the people, the landscape, the cows, the dairies, the smells, the small-town cops and the country roads….?

You’ve had an incredible impact on the lives of many of the kids there…I hear about you a lot when I talk to them.
As for missing Wendell…oddly enough, it’s an incredibly easy place to miss…trust me.

We must remember throughout our lives that in God’s sight there are no little people and no little places. Only one thing is important: to be consecrated persons in God’s place for us, at each moment.
Francis A. Schaeffer
Does that help answer the question?

Jen, Princeton Theological Seminary is where I am going to be calling home for the next 3-4 years. For some reason, I actually really enjoy exams, reading and papers.
