Ultimate Slow Dance Set
February 2, 2004

I’m putting together a CD of slow dances for our Annual Sweetheart Banquet this Saturday. It’s a pretty fun deal and we have close to 30 couples coming to help our students raise money for their summer mission trip. But here’s where you come in.
I am looking to put together the ultimate slow dance set and I would love some song recommendations. We have couples coming who are as young as mid-20s up to the mid-80s. So, pretty much - anything goes - it just has to be a classic. Thanks for leaving your recommendations!

ages since the last post, but one classic, perhaps better known to those with European connections:
“Je t’aime, moi non plus”, Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg. The single 45 was probably almost banned because of its lyrics when it first came out. But how many of you who are in your 30’s now could have been conceived when this song was playing? Perfect for a slow dance, vertical or horizontal. But not nearly as long as it should be.
