“Method” to our Madness: Why This Space?

Dear friends [and random webloggers who have stumbled across this blog]:

I have created this space so that you might become a part of the writing process that will lead to a book my friend Tony and I are writing re: postmodernism (PoMo) and Christian faith. This space will feature the rough drafts of sections for the book I will write (Tony’s blog will contain his drafts); at the bottom of each draft there is a link that will allow you to comment—which I hope you will, of course, at length.

Here are a few things to keep in mind as you read:

All of our writing on the following subjects is limited to ten pages.
All of our writing connects PoMo with Christian faith—in some manner or another.

To the left you will find the reading Tony and I are currently enjoying (or suffering through [and not in alphabetical order]). We invite you to read along with us and offer comments. We are creating annotated bibliographies that we will make available as we go. If you would rather e-mail your comments, make sure to cc: Tony and leave a copy here so others can benefit from your comments.

Thanks for being a part of our reading/writing group. Who knows if a book is at the end of this journey; if not, then we will at least have shared wonderful dialogue and grown in our love for Christ.
